Born in Saginaw August 5, 1871 and attended both Vassar and Alma College. She married Will DeWitt in 1902. Mrs. Brand serviced in World War One as a volunteer Red Cross worker and was a member of Saginaw General Hospital's board of trustees for 36 years. Nettie Brand died August 20th, 1962 at Saginaw General Hospital.
