Thomas Tierney was born in March of 1872 and moved to Mid Michigan in 1890. In 1896, he opened a bicycle shop in Saginaw. One of his star salesman was Barney Oldenfield, one of the nation’s top auto racers. For many years, he operated a loan and real estate brokerage office at 210 s. Washington. He was married to Mae Herbage. He died on Apr. 3, 1958
