Biographical / Historical
Freeman William Coats was borh March 22nd, 1919 in Saginaw County. He graduated from Arthur Hill High School and married Virginia Bueker in 1941. In 1942 he entered the US Army and served as a military officer both stateside and in Korea until 1946. Freeman died February 26, 2011.

Collection was donated by the children of Carolyn Coats Mendedorp and William Coats. Susan Coats Warner brought and surrendered collectoin to Local History and Genealogy on pr. 14, 2015.
