Biographical / Historical
"The Write For Your Life program at Arthur Hill High School in Saginaw, Michigan, involved 12th grade students in one class during the 1993/1994 school year. Over the course of this school year, reading/writing topics have covered a range of topics from violence among youth, a topic which is [sic] dominates national concern to issues closer to home such as new security plans for our school in the fall.
After discussing many of these issues, we decided our 2nd semester project would be another booklet which we hope to share with our community. The purpose of this booklet is to showcase our talens while sharing with parents and the community teenager's views today. We hope that the production of this booklet will let your community know that teenagers are doing some good things and doing them well.
This booklet contains the results of surveys and research projects as well as a range of creative pieces and personal narratives. The booklet itself as well as much of the content results from the co-operative efforts of students in this class."
