Personal Letter

Hi Ila Baby

How do you feel today? Okay I hope. Well Dwayne and I are split up again, for how long I don’t know. He is down in Mannhiem yet while I’m up here at Bad Krueznach . Maybe we’ll get together when we get a three day pass. We are living in Barracks now, they are really beautiful, the rooms are painted two tone light green half way up the wall, the ceilings are white and so are halfs the walls, three windows to a room, eight men to a room. Say Honey are you going to School now? Gee I don’t remember the time or date of the month anymore. It’s raining outside right now, and is real dismal. We have mountains all around us they look beautiful, I’ll take some pictures of them and send them down. My Brother is back from his vacation and will send me mail more after noon. I’m sorry I didn’t write sooner but I will from now on. I don’t have too much to write about right now but will write more tomorrow. Oh yes I’m an acting Corporal, I hope I do get to make the grade, I’m on trial right now. It pays about $5000 a month. I’ll be able to buy a new Pontiac when I get out, I’ll give you a ride in it, if you would want to go along. That is if you trust me, and you wouldn’t have to worry I’m a gentleman. Well honey I will have to sign off for now and get to bed. Goodnight and Sweet Dreams. Give my Love to Dad and Mother. Oh yes to your brother Gerry. God Bless you Honey. With All my Love, Bob

P.S. This is a personal letter for you alone. Love and Kisses. Bob
