Hi Honey,
Just recieved your letter the other day and I was really glad to hear from you. My mail has really fallen off lately. No kidding I didn’t recieve any mail for 14 days straight. Then all of a sudden I got two letters one from my Dad and one from You. Please Honey keep on writting, it really makes me feel good to get a letter from you. Duane always told me he had a sister when we were in Basic Training but I never thought you would be as cute as you really are. I was really surprised to see you when I was home on furlough. You looked a lot older then you really are. I took you for 17 or 18 years old. No kidding. Don’t count the days, because I don’t know myself how long I’m to be in this doggone Army. The sooner I get out the better. Then I’ll take you for that ride, out by some lake, with the moon shining and no one around. Oh Brother I know I shouldn’t say things like this to you because of the difference in our ages. But I can’t help it. Don’t tell no one huh honey. You’ll never be sorry honest. Well Sweetheart I’m going to bed now, please don’t forget to write. Tell your mother I made Corporal.
Give my best to the whole family. God Bless you all.
With All my Love,
Bob
P.S.
I’ll have some pictures taken and send them to you. [torn]
