Dear Ila,

Guess what happened? Duane and I are together again. All the guys that were out of the company were called back. Gee it seems swell to have him back again. Crowell came back too, even though he doesn’t hang around with us too much. Gee whiz but it is getting cold out. Frost every night. I probably told you about the weather. So I’ll not talk about it again. Those pictures didn’t turn out that I had taken. So Duane and I will take some together. Also we will take some single pictures. How is everything going anyway? I just don’t know what to write about tonight. I’m so doggone mad, they are trying to pass a law to keep us in for 30 months. I get so doggone mad, I just don’t know what to do with myself. It seems like we will never get out of the Army. Sometimes, Oh I won’t even talk about it. I hope you are in top shape (Ahem) I mean okay. Because I’m going to neck the hang out of you when we get out, I mean when I see you. The only way we probably could get together would be by you sneaking out. Oh what fun we could have. I’m sorry Ila, I know I shouldn’t write like this. So I’ll Sign off for now. Goodnight Sweetheart, and sweet dreams. Give my Love to the rest of the family.

With deepest Love, Bob

P.S. Will send pictures as soon as we take some.
