Hi Honey,
Recieved your most welcome letter today, so I thought I had better answer it right away. Boy that lipstick imprint really looks good. The letter smells real nice too. It won’t be long now Sweetheart, till I’ll be able to hold you in my arms. Boy that lipstick really looks good, (MMM) Honey I just can’t wait till I can get you alone someplace. It just seems so doggone long the days are really starting to drag along. I guess I’m just over anxious. It’s just like watching a clock, and expecting the time to really fly by. I took a five day furlough this week, that’s the main reason why I didn’t write. Will you forgive me Sweetheart? I only caught three fish in five days, isn’t that bad luck though. Yesterday I just started to have luck, the rest of the week the water was to rough to do much of anything. As for seeing football games this year, I just want to be home in time Honey. They are trying to keep us in as long as possible, then discharge us at the last darn minute. Boy I think that is pretty darn mean. Don’t you think so? Oh, will it ever be nice to be home, I just won’t know what in hang to do with myself. (Ahem) Do you have any suggestions?
Just think I’m going to miss the rest of fishing season, and all of Pheasant and deer season. Boy I have the worse darn luck though. The best thing that ever really happened to me was meeting you Sweetheart. I know I’ll never regret it, I hope you won’t. Will you? It just started to rain. What weather they have over here. We go out on maneuvers starting Monday. For at least ten or fifteen days, I probably won’t have to much time to write. But I’ll try to write every chance I get. Is it okay Sweetheart? Gee whiz I don’t know how I would ever get along now if I didn’t hear from you Sweetheart. I’m not kidding either, I mean it. Boy I really wish I were at home now, it’s the best darn time of the year too. So much for now Sweetheart, I’ll try to write again during the week. So till next time good night and God Bless You and Sweet Dreams.
With All my Love,
Bob
