Hi Doll,

Received a chipper letter from you this evening, which I’m enjoying right now. Yes, you might say I’m sick of the Army and vice-versa, but I’m still living and enjoying it. Glad to hear you’d like to help, and it doesn’t sound stupid at all. I don’t know what you think I’m thinking, but if you want me to think what you think I’m thinking, I’ll think it. Doggoned if you aren’t giving me a hard time. Here I am biting my fingers off waiting for pictures and you say they’re a little too daring. How well do we have to be acquainted before you’d send me those pictures? No kidding, I’m 22 now and grown up enough to see some daring pictures. You say they’re not bad, but doggoned if they can’t be if you won’t send ‘em. Come on and give me a break, huh? Can’t think of anything you could send me, except of course the stray girls you mentioned. On second thought, never mind ‘em. Send yourself. O.K., O.K. you issued an order for me to think of something to send and I can. Send come of those daring picture. That’s a direct order!, and will be obeyed immediately. No, my head didn’t swell when you said those pictures of me are good. I’m so used to be called lunk head around here I don’t have much chance of getting big-headed. All kinds of rumors going around about Rotation, points, truce talks and what all but I don’t have much faith in any of ‘em. Just waiting for my day and hoping nothing big happens to keep me from leaving this lonely place. Have a little radio going, first one we’ve had in quite some time. Barclay Allen playing and he’s really jumping. Don’t know whether I ever mentioned my music likes or not, but I can go for anything except opera. The wailing gets me. I’ve got several of Tschykovsky’s Concerto’s and as far as I’m concerned he’s the best.

Love, Little Doll, Frank

P.S. The pictures.
