Hi Doll,
Thanks a lot for the Birthday Card. You were the only person, who seemed to remember. As for my being mad at you, (Heaven forbid) it will never happen. You are the one that should be mad. When I came home the first thing that I did was start to visit all my relation, and honest, that takes in an awful lot of people. As for my not coming out to see you, well I figured by this time you wouldn’t want to see me, and I wouldn’t blame you one bit. I have a notion to come out there several times but I thought I better not. Remember what you sent me when I was overseas well I still have it. Does the bargain still go. I mean a kiss for it when I return it? I must sound silly talking in riddles like this? Where do you hang around in Chesaning? Is there someplace where I could meet you at sometime? Maybe I had better not say that, I shouldn’t bother you at all. Seeing I’m Getting older then the hills. Or don’t you mind. I also forgot how to be a gentleman too, (Ahem) If you will excuse the expression. I just don’t seem to know what to do around here. Everyone is so darn quiet, I’m used to a little noise anyway. How does Duane like married life? I think I’ll have to try it some day?
Want to get married? (HA-HA) I know you don’t Because you want to join the W.A.F.S. Why may I ask? Well Honey I’ll wait till I get you next letter, and then maybe we can mee someplace. Okay?
Lots of Love,
Bob
