Hi Ila,

Recieved your letter yesterday, and I’m sorry to hear that your Mother is sick, I hope she feels better now, does she? How does ten o’clock Saturday night sound Honey? Or is that too late for you? Doggone it, I wish we lived closer. I mean Chesaning isn’t far away, but I’ll be there Sweetheart. So please let me know huh? Don’t worry Honey I want to see you in the worst way too. I won’t let you down honestly. This doggone ink pen isn’t worth a darn. Don’t mind the way I’m botching up this letter I still have the lock of hair too, I’ll show it to you Saturday night but I won’t give it back though. Is that okay, though I should let you have it back, but gee hon. I’ve carried that lock of hair half way around the world. So to give it away would be just like having my arm cut off. So now you know. Well Honey I’ll see you Saturday night. Goodnight and God Bless You.

With Lots of Love, Bob
