Dear Ila,
How everything with my best girl these day’s fine I hope. It good to here that you are haveing a good time on your vacation too.
Has your girl friend been getting any mail from Art. (not me). How does she like him. I should have told you his name.
I don’t mind a girl if she has freckels or not. There not anything they can do for them.
I’m going to try and get another leave around Oct. or Nov. when I do I will try and make it to Michigan, O’K?
This town I live in hasn’t changed a bit. It the same as I left it in June of 53. So as soon as I get out of the army I might try Cleveland or go to California to work. I won’t stay around this town when I get out.
Jack should be home by now, (I hope he is) tell him I said hello. O’K?
I hope your brother has a nice wedding.
As soon as I can find some picture I will send them to you I will O’K.
It feel good to go swiming. I thought I would haft to learn all over again. I didn’t.
You said to watch out of all the girls here. Well just about all the one’s I know either got married or moved away. I only know a few ones and there going with some one else.
Well it won’t be long before school will start again (won’t you be glad) just kidding O’K.
