Dear Ila,

How everything with my best girl these day’s fine I hope, as for myself I’m O’K. Just about all this month I have been on the road. I don’t write very much well I’m traveling. I start writing more now. We are suppose to go to Camp Carson, Colorado, soon. We are suppose to leave the 1st of Sept., but they don’t know for sure. As soon as I fine out when we move I will write and let you know. By the way I had some picture taken the other day we shall get them sometime this week I will send them to you. You can get rid of the mouse when you get my picture O’K. I will send them as soon we get them back. I just hope the next 3 months go as fast as these last 3 months did. Just as soon as you finish school I will be getting out of the army. I have 1 more year to go. Won’t I be glad to get out of the army. I suppose Jack out of the army by now. Tell him I said hello when you see him O’K? Tell your girl friend to write to that boy and ask him why he doesn’t write or what the matter. If she doesn’t recive a letter about 10 day’s after she write him you can get his addrest and send it to me then I will try and find out why O’K? But it take about 7 day’s to get there and 7 day for an answer. Have here wait 10-15 day then I will write if she doesn’t recive and answer. See how good I write on paper without lines on it? All the girls in Ohio are not that good. Boy the way what color in your hairs. I will till you what I like then. Well I can’t think of much more to say now so I will close and write another letter soon.

Love, ART
