Dear Ila,

Well how everything with the school girl these day’s, fine I hope as for myself The last few day’s I was sick but O’K now. No, school won’t be to hard for the last year. How do you like it? We are putting up a line down here in Camp Hale, and they are getting us up at 4 o’clock everyday and stay up in the mountain till about 4:30 in the after-noon. So I’m a little tired at night. That everyday. How long have we been writing each other now. I know it been a long time. It is fun writing somebody I never met but I’m going to try and get a 24 day leave in January and I will try and get to Michigan to see you. (If you want me to) Boy is it raining out tonight, and after the rain it will get cold. Tell you what I do at night well when we get in from the mountain eat, get clean up and then go to bed. That the truth to. I might go on pass for 2 day’s next week I don’t get to go home so I might just stay in bet for 2 day’s. I can’t think of much to say right now so I will close and write and Sunday because I’m so tired I can hardly keep my eye open. Be good and take care of your self.

Love, ART
