Dear Ila,
Well how everything with my best school girl these day’s? I know you just love school, by the way you talk about it.
Most of the time when I got out to work I take off and go up in the lid. I’m just killing time now that I’m going down-hill grade in the army.
Jack, said he was going to get married after his girl finish school. Tell him hello when you see him for me. He did a lot of take about farmering well he was in Korea.
I should be able to get a leave in January, so I might be able to get up there in Michigan to see you. I well let you know for sure later on.
Yes, I like to go hunting. I would go deer hunting up here not if there was anyplace I could get a gun. There a lot of deer up here in the mountains.
Don’t feel to bad about your home town foot-ball team, the last I heard about my home town team they lost every game they played.
You don’t get made if I get something for your birthday a little late well you. I haft to get my brother and his wife something. She going to have a baby in December. My wrote and told me. I haven’t had a lettler from them for a few months.
I going to put a picture in with this lettler. The boy that told it was to far away. It was taken one Sunday well I had C.Q. It isn’t a good one but it all I have. If you have any old picture of yourself and want to get rid of them, I would like to have them, O’K?
What would you do if I wrote Edna? I won’t so don’t get mad. O’K? I will give her addrest to someone.
I don’t see were any of your lettler are dull beside I would care. Mail call is all I wait for in the army. I got 3 or 4 from my mother a week beside what I get from you. I don’t get to many from my sister. I keep up with everybody.
By the way don’t quit school I did and I’m sorry I did it now.
Well honey I can’t think of much more to say so I will close. Don’t do anything you well be sorry for later. Be good and take care of yourself.
