Dear Ila,

How everything with you in school these day’s, still giveing them a hard time in school. I bet you are. You were lucky not putting a big dent in your dad car. That one reason I don’t like to drive anyone car but my own. That boy that I gave Edna addrest to, said he was writen to her. So you can see I don’t know what to tell you about it. I don’t know what to tell you about Jim, why don’t you give him a hint? As for myself I’m not going with anybody yet! I only go to Dances once in well to get out of this army camp. Ila, you can have all the winter you want I’ll take the good old summer time. Well what happen to Michigan when they played Ohio State in football. I though for a well Michigan were going to win. By the way how did my own home town do this year. The last I heard my home town lost every game they played. You ask what my favorite winter sport is well it football, I think it the best as for ice skating I have never been on them. There isn’t much more to write about so I well close till I hear from you again. Be good and take care of yourself.

Love, ART
