The Grand Rapids - Saginaw Valley Deep Waterway Association proposed a deep waterway cross Michigan via the Grand, Saginaw Rivers. Byron G. Coryell of Chesaning, Michigan was the president, Charles S. Hathaway was the secretary and W. Bunker was the engineer in charge.
