Scope and Contents
The Saginaw County General Images Collection represents the diverse nature of communities born in eras of growth and industry in northeastern Michigan, encompassing nearly 200 years of settlement in the region. Arranged by category, this collection displays images of significant importance to the history, culture, and identity of Saginaw County. From the signing of the Treaty of Saginaw in 1819 to scenes of the present day, the Saginaw County General Images Collection has been compiled and presented to our community as a series of glimpses into Saginaw’s illustrious past and reflections of Saginaw’s ever-changing landscape.
